For six weeks, we will return to our annual outdoor gathering. We roll out the turf grass, move our entire setup outside to enjoy the beauty of the great outdoors and share in one gathering of worship, word, and prayer. Then hang out after the gathering and stay as long as you’d like for food trucks and family fun.

As a reminder, there will only be one gathering at 10:00 am in the parking lot of Restoration Church.

FASTING PRATICE SIGN-UPs

FASTING PRATICE SIGN-UPs

This is a 5 week, churchwide practice, where we will dive into the spiritual discipline of fasting. Fasting is one of the most essential and powerful of all the practices of Jesus and one of the best ways we have to integrate our entire person, including our body, around God. 
Throughout this practice, we will cover the four reasons we fast:
• To offer ourselves to Jesus
• To grow in holiness
• To amplify our prayers
• To stand with the poor
The ultimate aim of fasting is to get in touch with our hunger for God. Hunger is the state of wanting or needing something you do not have. When we fast, we awaken our body and soul to its deep yearning for life with the Father. We become able to say with Jesus, “I have food to eat that you don’t know about.” (John 4:32)

Sign-ups open January 7th. Practices start the week of January 28th.

This will be our final 6 weeks of summer event. So come and join us for our “Classic Outdoor Gathering.” We will move our entire gathering space outside and together, share one gathering as one family. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets and sun hats. It’s gonna get wild!!!
