There Is Ground In Front Of Us
Israel once stood on the edge of the Promised Land. It was a land of abundance and a land of challenge.
We, the people of Restoration, now stand before a similar opportunity.
We can’t stay in limbo. We believe it's time to step forward. It's time to make room for more.
We seek to follow where God is calling us, to make space for the people of Restoration and to take ground permanently in our city.
In our homes. In our neighborhoods. In our workplaces. In our schools. In every part of life.
Israel stood between Egypt and the Promised Land. One generation shrank back. Another stepped forward. The difference wasn't the size of the giants. It was the size of their trust.
How is Jesus inviting you to trust and follow Him? What is the future of Restoration worth to you?
We are a people who, not a place where. We don't want to build something impressive while forgetting why it exists. The building is not the most important thing. But the building protects and promotes the most important thing. The most important thing is people following Jesus in the everyday stuff of life—together.

With ownership of our buildings, we will be able to make space for larger weekend gatherings as well as create room for other ventures such as Bought Beautifully and event hosting.

We’ve been growing steadily and finally have the opportunity to address that challenge with a long-term mindset. This not only provides a solid foundation for the future but a base of operations from which to reach the larger Prescott area.

We will be purchasing these parcels:
113-15-054: 226 N. Montezuma St. (existing building, storefront, multi-story) 11,644 sq. ft.
113-15-055: 216 N. Montezuma St. (existing parking lot)
113-15-056: 213 N. Granite St. (dirt lot near Founding Fathers, future parking)
113-15-057: 214. N. Montezuma (old Hugo’s building, future site for Bought Beautifully)

$950,000 will provide us enough for a down payment on the properties as well as remodeling work.

We are negotiating the details, but are planning to close in Q1 of 2028.

Yes, Taking Ground commitments are offered over and above normal giving. We still have our normal operating expenses as a church.

Taking Ground has a 15 month (3 tax years) initiative window.
