Landon grew up in Prescott where he met his future wife, Chelsea, while attending Mile High Middle School. He was formed, shaped, molded, and challenged by the history, relationships, and culture of Prescott, his hometown for over twenty years. Consequently, Landon has a unique and deeply rooted love for this community.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Religion from Liberty University, Landon was shaped by multiple positions at Heights Church where he continued to learn under multiple mentors who provided and continue to provide wisdom and counsel throughout his journey. God used this compilation of experiences, responsibilities, and relationships to lead Landon into a season where he prayed through and pondered planting for about two years. The timing and circumstances just didn’t seem right though, until Landon met Jon Wolfinger and with the backing of mentors, pastors, and friends, Jon and Landon decided in 2016 to partner to plant Restoration Church in their hometown.
Jon Wolfinger is a follower of Jesus, husband to Karen, father of three boys, and second generation Prescottonian. Jon entered into vocational ministry as a janitor at age 18. From there, he served in various intern roles and as a youth pastor until he stepped out into church planting in 2011. Before starting Restoration Church, he served as pastor and planter of Lumen Deo, a church in downtown Prescott.
He desires to speak and show the love of Christ in all aspects of life. He received master’s degree in theology from Missional Training Center in Phoenix, Arizona. Jon enjoys reading, writing, and just about any activity or sport in the great outdoors. His family currently resides near Thumb Butte in Prescott, AZ.
