If we take following Jesus seriously, then we must not settle for merely knowing things about Jesus. Rather, we must do the things Jesus did, and practice His way of life. Trusting Jesus is clearly an essential and life-changing part of Jesus’ way of life.

WHATS COMING UP?

Restoration Church is a “people who”, not a “place where”. Simply put, we are a collective of people who are united by our following of Jesus in all of life. By this, we mean that God has a perfect plan for the world and that He is restoring broken stories to beautiful by the life and work of Jesus, and by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We follow Jesus as both Lord and Savior because He alone is truly good always. He alone can be trusted in every moment of our lives. That cannot be said about any other person ever— only Jesus.
So, as a church, we seek to join Jesus in His mission of restoring the greater Prescott area, and the world, to His beautiful intent. We believe the Holy Spirit will lead this effort in three ways.
First, we are called to PRESENT this always good God to one another and the world around us. This is the only proper starting place. We simply need to be with God.
Second, as we get to know this infinitely good God, we PRACTICE His way of life. We are far from perfect, but recognizing that He is, we practice becoming like Him together. We like to think about this as becoming human the way we were made to be. This happens in smaller communities— we are meant to be on this journey together.
Lastly, as we are continually presented with who God is and are practicing His way of life, we seek to be a PREVIEW of what His plan is for the world. Specifically, that Jesus will reign on Earth, making all things new—life the way it was meant to be. This happens as we follow Him in the midst of the everyday stuff of life.
