Restoration Church is hiring an additional full-time Pastor of Gatherings.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $85,000

Reports To: Integrator

Purpose: The Pastor of Gatherings provides spritual and strategic leadership for the ministries and teams of Restoration Church, so they are equipped to guide our community to trust Jesus always, no matter the moment.

Responsibilities:

Ministry Oversight & Leadership Development

• Provide pastoral care, encouragement, and accountability to ministry leaders and volunteer teams

• Directly oversee the vision and direction of Adult Groups

• Directly lead, coach, and support Facilities and Events Team

• Lead, coach, and develop Gathering Managers and all teams listed under their oversight to ensure gatherings and events are excellent, welcoming, and mission-aligned

• Identify, recruit new leaders and volunteers across ALL ministries

• Develop clear ministry role descriptions, expectations, and onboarding pathways for volunteers

• Oversee Scheduling Volunteers for your functional ministry area 

Systems & Process Improvement

• Create and oversee the assimilation plan for new attendees who come to Restoration Church

• Oversee volunteer scheduling systems and ensure teams are adequately resourced

• Troubleshoot and refine Sunday gathering systems for smooth execution

• Maintain effective communication channels between staff and ministry teams

Weekend Gathering Oversight

• Ensure Gathering Managers and team leads are equipped to lead their teams and troubleshoot issues in real time

• Ensure facility is service ready and welcoming for guest

Cross-Team Collaboration

• Partner with the Executive Pastor to integrate operational and ministry systems seamlessly

• Collaborate with the Teaching Pastor to ensure systems and volunteers support teaching and discipleship goals

• Provide Welcome lunch assistance when Teaching Pastor is unavailable

Expectations:

• Attend weekly staff meetings and meet regularly with supervisees

• Be present for all major events and services (Christmas Eve Eve, Easter, Good Friday, and other key gatherings as requested)

• Work in the office Tuesday–Thursday, with flexibility for weekend ministry needs

• Work all but one weekend (Saturday and Sunday) each month, with one additional Saturday off each month. 

• Prioritize relationship with Jesus above all else, maintaining a consistent Sabbath day and personal spiritual practices

• Pursue ongoing personal and professional development that aligns with the needs of the church and the role
